DEEP RASPBERRY RED wool crepe Lilli Ann skirt suit from the 1940s. This beauty really is something special, rarely found in such beautiful condition. She features a gentle curved collar very reminiscent of the 1940s, and fastens to the front with five covered buttons. She has a long sleeve on the jacket with beautiful seaming giving her a very tapered shape. She has two splits on each side of the skirt for walking. 

She has three matching covered buttons on each shoulder and to this attaches a capelet. She is lined in a matching silk. Her skirt fastens to the side with a metal zipper and button.

Flaws/Faults/Repairs
She has discolouring to the lining in the underarm area on both sides. This is not visible from the outside. She has a minor area of darkened discolouration on one button and she has a darkened area of discolouration on her left sleeve near the shoulder. She has one very minor moth hole repair near her right shoulder however I believe it's unlikely to be noticed when worn.
