STRIKING AND DRAMATIC black silk taffeta Ceil Chapman, with a plunging neckline, and drama created by an off shoulder stand up collar, a fitted bodice and a generous vertically ruched and gathered skirt. Her sleeves are bracelet length with a gathered wrist area to add to the drama. She fastens to the side with a metal zipper and she has a horsehair hem to her skirt creating a perfect fall. She has some minor flaws which are noted below.
