PLEATED SUZY PERETTE -
Absolutely beautiful 1950s Suzy Perette pure silk satin dress featuring horizontal pleating all over the dress. To the front she features a thick satin panel above the bust which is stiffened with pellon, she has matching satin straps and her bodice is tailored to fit the body. Her skirt is panel style giving her a very full shape and her horizontal pleating continues all down the front of the skirt. She is fully lined in pellon and she also features pellon pleating on the underside of the hip to give her the wasp waist effect and new look silhouette. She fastens to the back of the dress with a centre back zip and hook and eye. She has been laundered so she is clean and ready to wear however she does have some minor flaws being faded marks on her bust panel - if you look closely the bust panel appears slightly lighter in some areas however this is not easily noticed. There is also a faded brownish mark on the same panel area and one on the right shoulder strap. Please see photos for details. She has some very light coloured marks on her skirt these are not noticeable unless examining closely. This dress has been laundered and treated and she responded well to treatment. She has her Suzy Perette label as well as her Frost Bros Antonio Texas label.
