Late 1940s to early 1950s ivory coloured party dress. In a soft shade of ivory white, this gorgeous dress has a strapless underbodice and a sheer illusion style fabric over the top. She features an adorable peter pan collar, short sleeves and a very full skirt with a horizontal three row ribbon feature.
She closes to the front with pearl buttons which go all the way from the waist to the collar - these buttons are not original to the dress, but match perfectly. She also has a side metal zipper which is original.
She has a matching belt with a vintage mother of pearl buckle. The belt is also not original to the dress but is made of the same fabric as the underskirt.
