1940s GLAMOUR and style is what this stunning deep black crepe cocktail dress by Dorothy O'Hara evokes. Dorothy O'Hara was a designer for Paramount Pictures in the 1940s and she was known for her incredible ability to drape the body in fabric and was quoted by Vogue as a "sorceress at glorifying figures". 

This stunning piece epitomises the elegance and simplicity of the time and yet is sexy and classic simultaneously. She features a straight style neckline with a cap style sleeve that has exquisite draping over the shoulders. The bodice features a centre flat section and elegant draping to each side which gives a wasp waist illusion style, stunning. This feature radiates into the skirt which gently cascades into a slim fit towards the hem.

In immaculate condition, the only flaw I could find was an area of the zipper placard which has what seems to be a small pull. That's it! Otherwise her lining is perfect, her crepe is flawless and she is beautiful.
