NOT JUST ANY LBD.... This is a late 1950s tres elegant and chic little black dress by Dorothy O’Hara. Dorothy O’Hara was, according to Vogue in 1946, “a sorceress at glorifying figures”. And right they were! This beauty features a sweetheart bust line with a slight cowl shape which drapes into a delicate bow to the left of the bust. with dainty sleeve she has a fitted style bodice with piping to the waist and the skirt cascades in the same drape as her bust area. She fastens to the back with a zipper and hook and eye and at the back is a scoop back neckline.
With only one very minor repair on a sleeve which is not noticeable at all, she is beautiful clean and ready to wear.
