RAINBOW POLKA DOTS are in rows of colour all over this most adorable print skirt from the late 1950s (possibly early 1960s). There are a few different versions of this print, some are bright and vivid but this one is a muted, soft pastel tone. In shades of pastel grey, pink, blue, purple and yellow she has gathering around the waist. 

She has an overall wash fade, but she doesn't appear faded, she just appears soft and muted. She has a generous skirt, with a 74 sweep which is just over 2 yards!

She fastens with a metal zipper which was sewn in by hand and two buttons. Her waistband has been extended as there is a 7 inch plain coloured panel on the underside of the waistband and a vertical seam on the outside, there are also approx 6-10 orange coloured spots on her skirt (see photos), she has been laundered but not stain treated.
