Blue Wren Vintage was formed in 2018. Initially started as an online Instagram store selling exclusively 1950s clothing from a spare bedroom, Blue Wren Vintage has expanded to include a carefully curated selection from the 1950s with the occasional special piece from other eras. With a focus on high quality garments which have been repaired and restored, Blue Wren Vintage brings stunning pieces from the past into the present.
Located in the historical location of Glebe, an area known for its beautiful Victorian terraces and just 3km away from the centre of Sydney, Australia, Blue Wren Vintage remains exclusively online however does accept private appointments to view and/or purchase products.
From time to time, Blue Wren Vintage may partner with other local Vintage sellers to offer vintage for sale at Vintage markets or fairs in Sydney and surrounding areas.
Blue Wren Vintage has sent incredible pieces to people all over the world and we are proud to have sold to museums, private collectors and those that enjoy wearing and enjoying beautiful vintage items. Our items have been featured in photo shoots, worn and enjoyed by many influencers, and have even been on a Glamour USA video about 1950s clothing (link here - our dress is the polka dot dress worn by acclaimed vintage historian and lecturer Raissa Bretana starting at 11.26) - our pieces have been enjoyed by many!
Blue Wren Vintage has also supplied vintage clothing to movie studios and some beautiful pieces will be seen in an upcoming major motion picture.... more on this to come!
During 2020, Blue Wren Vintage was accepted as a trade member to the prestigious Vintage Fashion Guild (VFG). The Vintage Fashion Guild (VFG) is an international non-profit organization dedicated to the education, promotion and preservation of vintage fashion. To be a recognised member of the VFG, a seller must uphold the high standards of the guild. It is an honour and a pleasure to be part of a community with such commitment and passion to pieces of times past.
