PASS ME THE SMELLING SALTS as this Lilli Ann fire engine red wool suit is beyond swoonable. Dated from the mid to late 1950s, this stunning suit has been repaired and brought back to her former beauty.
She has her jacket and matching skirt, and the jacket is a shoulder shawl effect which has a centre feature of a very fluffy black fox fur. The fur is in beautiful soft condition and is not showing any sign of shedding. Her collar is a gorgeous almost architectural feature which is absolutely stunning. Her sleeve is straight and is bracelet length. The jacket is fitted and fastens with several snaps and a single covered button. She is lined in a matching silk and features her Lilli Ann label on the inside of her collar. She has had a moth hole repair performed to the back of the jacket but this is extremely difficult to see.
Her skirt is a slim pencil style with a small slit to the back for ease of walking. The skirt fastens to the side with a metal zipper which is authentic to the era but is not original, when I got her the skirt had a nylon zipper which has been changed. She also fastens with a red button.
She has been freshly dry cleaned and is ready to wear.
