BLUE HYDRANGEAS are the stunning feature of this beautiful two piece set. With a dress in a stunning and very flattering shape, she has a bateau neckline to the front , sleeveless and fitted bodice which has a ruched waist area in a matching plain colour. The skirt is incredibly generous and fill, with the layer of hydrangea organza covering a white lining. The organza layer has a horsehair hem to ensure that she sits perfectly. Shown in these photos with 2 crinolines to demonstrate her fullness.

This beauty is much loved and she has several issues that must be pointed out, however none of these detract at all from her incredible beauty.
- She was previously a 32 bust and a previous owner has added an extra inch of fabric under each underarm to make her a 34 bust. This could easily be returned to a 32 bust again.
- She has some yellowing around the underarm area on each side, I do not believe this would be obvious when worn
- The bodice lining has seen better days, she has fabric separation around the waist area (see photo) however this does not impact wearability as it cannot be seen from the outside.
- The lining of the skirt has a brown spot approx 1 inch diameter which looks like a spill. This cannot be seen when the dress is being worn.
- The lining of the skirt is thinning in some places and has mild separation in some areas. Again not visible when worn
- The skirt lining has been hemmed by hand by a previous owner. I expect that this dress was laundered in warm water and the lining became misshapen so the previous owner attempted to even up the lining.
- There are there hole repairs on the skirt. I only noticed these when ironing. There is a lot of fabric on the skirt so this may not be noticed in normal wear.
- The ruching on the bodice I believe was originally a cornflower blue but over time has changed to a lavender purple colour. There are hints of the blue in some areas giving her an ombré effect.
- I believe at some point in her past this dress has been made smaller in the waist as there are some stitching holes in the ruching. See photos.
