DEEP BLACK VELVET combined with what feels like a lightly textured charmeuse which to the front forms the majority of the bodice which has a wide, gently scooped neckline and a very slight cap shoulder. The charmeuse style fabric falls into a drape to the front which is cushioned by the deep, dark rich black velvet. The photos are showing this beauty as grey but she is most definitely a dark black. The princess seaming creates an incredibly voluminous skirt which features lining in pellon to maintain her shape and a built in crinoline and waist stay to keep everything in place. She fastens with a centre back metal zipper and hook and eye. This dress is a real stunner!

Flaws/Faults/Repairs
She has one small area approximately the size of a US quarter or Australian ten cent piece right on the hemline that is showing some discolouration, this area of velvet appears more reddish. I could observe this under the studio lighting but this is not obvious under normal lighting. The lighting is also showing some very small areas of fabric crush but I could not find this in normal light, the velvet pile appears even and smooth.
