DEEP NAVY AND BURGUNDY BEAUTY from the 1950s, this gorgeous dress is so incredibly striking. She features a thin shoulder strap each side with a matching satin drape front cowl which sits just on the edge of the shoulder and cascades into a low cowl to the back. She has a lining in a burgundy colour with a lace overlay in navy blue which has a matching burgundy lace edging. Her bodice has a matching burgundy satin piping edge.
She is a slim style to the front but to the back she has a generous and very elegant skirt and is full and perfect for twirling.
She fastens to the centre back with a metal zipper and hook and eye.

Flaws/Faults/Repairs
She has an area of mild fade on her lining (see photo) however this does not detract the eye when she is worn. She also has some small fabric pulls in her satin sash at the front however these were difficult to photograph as they were underneath the drape and couldn't be seen when worn.
