DON'T FORGET YOUR HAT! This super sweet pale blue fresh cotton dress from the 1950s is a novelty print with a wide brimmed straw hat with ribbon and flowers print. Her print colours are vivid and bright. This beauty appears to be home made so she's not structured absolutely perfectly, however she is most definitely wearable as she is. Featuring a squared horizontal neckline her shoulder straps have the slightest of curves which accentuates the bust area. 

She fastens to the back with a metal zipper and hook and eye. Her skirt is full and generous and shown in these images with two crinolines underneath.

Flaws/Faults/Repairs
She has 3 brown vertical marks to the front right hand side of the skirt approximately 4 1/2 inches below the waistband. This beauty has been laundered but not stain treated, these marks look like they could be treated and get lost in the fullness of the skirt.

The dress has all over fade, she was originally more "blue" than she is now, this is mostly apparent in the gathers of the skirt, when you open the gathers you can see the darker original colour of the fabric. She also has a marginal lightening on the top of the shoulders, this is not obvious and is more apparent under the studio lighting than natural light.

Her horizontal neckline area appears to have been altered in the past but has been returned to her original shape.
